Finally spring is here and I signed up for my first race of the year. The Capital City Half-Marathon takes place on May 1. It's been a tough winter, but now it's getting warmer and staying light out longer. All of this means there's more time to train.
I went out celebrated spring day one by getting a nice six mile run in this morning. I've actually run five out of the seven days this week. I'm feeling pretty good about that. I'm still trying to not tax the hamstrings too much so slow and steady is how I'm approaching it.
